ADA, Okla. – East Central University to host the annual Law Day event March 11 at 11 a.m. in the ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ Foundation Hall, located inside the Chickasaw Business & Conference Center.

Jacobi Nichols Whatley is set to open the event as the Law Day keynote speaker. The title of the presentation is “A Conversation with Jacobi Nichols Whatley.â€

Lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m., followed by a panel discussion with ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ graduates about their experiences in the legal profession at 12:45 p.m.

Whatley is a 2009 Political Science graduate of ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ where she also won the George Nigh Award. She attended law school at University of Oklahoma and has spent her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Cleveland, Carter, and now McClain County. Whatley was named Region 4 Prosecutor of the Year by the Association of Oklahoma Narcotics Enforcers for 2023-2024.
