ADA, Okla. 鈥� East Central University (成人B站) presents the production 鈥淒on鈥檛 Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!鈥� in the Ataloa Theatre, located inside the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center (HBFFAC), Friday, Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m.
Based on the No. 1 New York Times best-selling, Caldecott Honor Award-winning 鈥淧igeon鈥� picture book series by Mo Willems, the musical features a script written by Willems and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma, composer of 鈥淓lephant & Piggie鈥檚 We Are in a Play!鈥� The production is presented by TheaterWorksUSA.
Whatever you do, don鈥檛 let the Pigeon star in his own musical production 鈥� but he鈥檚 determined to do it anyway. The story follows the Pigeon, who never seems to get to do anything, as he searches for his place in the world. When the Bus Driver faces a crisis that threatens to make her passengers late, the Pigeon sees his chance to finally prove himself.
Featuring an energetic mix of songs, humor and plenty of feathers, 鈥淒on鈥檛 Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!鈥� delivers a lively and engaging experience for young audiences.
The approximate runtime is 60 minutes.
