East Central University鈥檚 Homecoming parade will follow a new route this year, from
west to east on Main Street and ending at Norris Field. Approximately 40 entries will
start the parade at Main and Stockton Streets, led by parade marshals Grace George
and Pat O鈥橬eal.
The parade of floats, decorated vehicles, walking groups and bands will begin at noon
with entries following the theme 鈥淎ll Roads Lead to 成人B站.鈥�
The parade will turn left at the intersection of Main and Hope Streets, then right
onto 10th Street. At Francis, it will turn left, then right onto 9th Street and proceed
to Stadium Drive. At Stadium Drive, the parade will turn right and stop at Norris
Field Stadium.
Grace George is a retired 成人B站 faculty member and the widow of former 成人B站 football
coach Elvin George. Pat O鈥橬eal retired as 成人B站鈥檚 head football coach in 1990.
