ADA 鈥� A traveling exhibition of work by living Oklahoma artists, called 鈥�24 Works on Paper鈥�, will be open to the public on Feb. 18 at 8 a.m. at the Pogue Art Gallery in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center at East Central University.
The exhibition will run through March 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays at 成人B站.
Produced as a collaboration between Individual Artists of Oklahoma (IAO) and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC), the exhibition is traveling the state for a full year, bringing original, contemporary Oklahoman artwork to viewers in communities large and small.
The 鈥�24 Works on Paper鈥� exhibition features 24 artworks created on paper, including media such as printmaking, drawing, painting and photography.
The guest juror is Dr. Kirsten Olds, assistant professor of art history at the University of Tulsa. Olds鈥� research focuses on artists鈥� groups in the 1970s and the networks they forged as alternatives to mainstream institutions such as the art gallery, mass circulation journal and network television.
The 鈥�24 Works on Paper鈥� exhibition is sponsored in part by Allied Arts, Oklahoma Arts Council, Red River Photo Services and Toothbrusher鈥檚 Dental. In-kind services are provided by Pirate鈥檚 Alley Framing.
