ADA, Okla. 鈥 The annual East Central University Faculty Showcase Concert is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ataloa Theatre, located inside the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.

This event will highlight the talent and diversity of 成人B站鈥檚 music faculty through a varied and engaging program.

The event is free and open to the public.

This year鈥檚 showcase will feature performances from:

  • Melody Baggech, Professor of Music
  • Nathaniel Berman, Associate Professor of Woodwinds
  • Alexandra Aguirre-Berman, Adjunct Instructor of Flute
  • Doug Laramore, Adjunct Instructor of High Brass
  • Justin Lewis, Assistant Director of Bands
  • Christopher Martin, Adjunct Instructor of Low Brass
  • Dr. Nicholaus Meyers, Director of Bands and Percussion
  • Farren Rowan, Staff Accompanist, Music Education, Piano
  • Grayson Rushing, Percussion

The program includes a blend of classical and contemporary works from composers such as George Frideric H盲ndel, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Launy Gr酶ndahl, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and more.

Highlights include:

  • 鈥淟et the Bright Seraphim鈥 by H盲ndel, performed by Melody Baggech (soprano), Doug Laramore (trumpet), and Farren Rowan (piano)
  • 鈥淐oncerto for Bass Tuba (Mvt. I)鈥 by Vaughan Williams, featuring Christopher Martin
  • A unique solo vibraphone piece, 鈥淭ime? Where Did It Go?鈥, composed and performed by Dr. Nicholaus Meyers
  • A whimsical piccolo and alarm clock piece, Wake Up! by Tilmann Dehnhard, performed by Alexandra Aguirre-Berman
  • Traditional and folk-inspired works, including 鈥淎utumn Moon Over the Calm Lake,鈥 arranged by Chen Pei-Xun and performed by Farren Rowan
  • and much more.

The showcase offers something for every listener, from dramatic vocal arias to modern chamber works and virtuosic instrumental solos.
