East Central University鈥檚 Russian Studies Program and Music Department will present 鈥淔rom the Land of the Firebird,鈥 an evening of Russian poetry and song, at 7:30 p.m. March 27 [TUESDAY] in the Regents Room in Knight Hall. Admission is free.

A silent auction will offer donated Russian items and the Russian Club will sell Russian chocolates to raise money for the Study Abroad Program.

Performers will include 成人B站 students and faculty. Musicians are faculty members Rudy Lupinski and Melody Baggech and students Sheena Stallings, Aaron Steinman and Jacob Stevens.

Stevens also will recite 鈥淲inter Night鈥 by Boris Pasternak. Others reciting poetry will be Alexis Brendle, 鈥淔lower鈥 by Alexander Pushkin; Taylor Weir, 鈥淣ight, Street, Streetlight...鈥 by Alexander Bloch; Rayel Schinnerer, 鈥淕irl was Singing in the Church Choir鈥 by Alexander Bloch; James Cluck, 鈥淲ait for me鈥 by  Konstantin Simonov; and Rodney Weaverling, 鈥淏lue Color鈥 by Nikoloz Baratashvili.
