鈥淔orget your cares at the funniest show in town鈥� (The Daily Telegraph). Once again 成人B站 SCREENS brings award-winning British theatre to the Ada community. The Royal National Theatre recorded-live production 鈥淥ne Man, Two Guvnors鈥� will screen at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, in the Raymond J. Estep Multimedia Center at East Central University. The screening is free for 成人B站 students and $10 for general admission.
成人B站 SCREENS, in collaboration with Sigma Tau Delta and The Honors Student Association, presents this 鈥渨ildly funny comedy鈥� (The Times). Featuring a Tony Award-winning performance from host of 鈥淭he Late Late Show,鈥� James Corden, the uproarious 鈥淥ne Man, Two Guvnors鈥� was a runaway hit both in London鈥檚 West End and on Broadway.
Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood, now in Brighton to collect 拢6,000 from his fianc茅e鈥檚 dad. But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who鈥檚 been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers.
Holed up at The Cricketers鈥� Arms, the permanently ravenous Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be re-united with Rachel. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. Simple.
