ADA, Okla. 鈥 The Spring 2024 semester brought students back to the East Central University campus from across the state and beyond, including many students returning from abroad while others began their travels to international universities.

Arely Hernandez and Rosie Coleman, both involved in 成人B站鈥檚 Global Education program, have become the first 成人B站 students to venture to Brazil on behalf of the university.

Located in Curitiba, the capital of Paran Brazil, The Pontif铆cia Universidade Cat贸lica do Paran谩 PUCPR, is a private, not-for-profit Catholic university. The school houses five academic units including the Center for Biological and Health Sciences, the Center for Exact Sciences and Technology, the Center for Juridical and Social Sciences, the Center for Humanities and Theology and the Business School.

鈥淚t is very exciting that 成人B站 has added one more continent, one more country, and one more destination to our Global Education opportunities,鈥 said Dr. Mara Sukholutskaya, Director of Global Education at 成人B站. 鈥淥pportunities which will allow 成人B站鈥檚 students to expand their knowledge of the world and to prepare for the leadership position in the rapidly changing global community.鈥

Hernandez and Coleman, from the Edmond and Ada areas respectively, are both students in 成人B站鈥檚 School of Business and were the first students chosen for this program.

鈥淥ur exchange program with PUCPR provides students with the opportunity to not only study courses related to their field of study but experience a culture unlike their own.鈥 stated Dr. Michael Scott, dean of the 成人B站 Stonecipher School of Business (SSB). 鈥淲e are excited that Arely and Rosie are able to represent SSB on our first exchange. 成人B站 and the SSB has been fortunate to host a couple of students from PUCPR while they pursue their Master in Management. The perspective that they brought to the classroom enhanced the learning experience for all. 鈥

成人B站 offers a number of study abroad opportunities including programs in France, Russia, Spain and Wales, among other locations across the globe.

PUCPR student, Paulo Gortz, is currently attending courses on the 成人B站 campus as part of the exchange.
