East Central University鈥檚 song and dance troupe Showtime will present a salute to Rodgers and Hammerstein鈥檚 musical Oklahoma! on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 2-3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dorothy I Summers Theatre.
This landmark musical celebrates the 75th anniversary of its premiere on Broadway.
Showtime will perform songs from the musical such as 鈥淥h, What a Beautiful Morning,鈥� 鈥淚 Cain鈥檛 Say No,鈥� 鈥淧eople Will Say We鈥檙e in Love,鈥� 鈥淜ansas City,鈥� and, of course, the state song 鈥淥klahoma!鈥�
Showtime is directed by Vickie Reifsnider and accompanied by Rudy Lupinski. Choreography is by Cassidy Malm of Noble.
