ADA, Okla. 鈥 The East Central University Glass Recycling Program has announced that Adrian Odhiambo is the new project executive director at 成人B站.

Odhiambo brings more than 5 years of leadership experience to his new role at the Glass Recycling Program.

In addition to working as a research scientist at the Kenya Foresty Research Institute, he was a member of the Environmental Association, where he led a project of planting 100,00 trees in Narok, Kenya.

The glass recycling program is strategically located to support the community near the ceramic studio behind the Education Building on the 成人B站 campus. At any time, anyone can stop by to drop off empty glass bottles to be recycled and turned into beautiful concrete paving stones.

In his capacity as executive director, Odhiambo will lead the 成人B站鈥檚 glass recycling strategic direction, campaign growth, and business growth. His responsibilities include managing partnerships with local restaurants, bars, and businesses.

Odhiambo will also drive fundraising initiatives, guide student recruitment and oversee grant management to expand the accessibility and impact of the Glass Recycling Program. Its current student workers are Diego Cifuentes, Suraj Khatri, and Mason Martinez.

鈥淚 am thrilled to join the Glass Recycling Program at 成人B站 and contribute to its mission of taking a step toward sustainability by conserving resources, creating jobs, and reducing glass waste in the environment,鈥 said Odhiambo. 鈥淭his role presents an exciting opportunity to lead an innovative program that addresses the evolving needs of reducing landfill waste and protecting our planet,鈥 he said.

Odhiambo holds a bachelor's degree in environmental science from Egerton University and is a current Master of Science student in 成人B站's Water Resource Policy and Management degree program. His wide experience in fundraising and partnership cultivation will play a crucial role in advancing the glass recycling program鈥檚 future success, according to the department chair Dr. Christine Pappas.

鈥淎drian brings a strong work ethic and a desire to achieve sustainable environmental policy to this project. I am delighted we have him at 成人B站,鈥 she said.

成人B站 Glass Recycling Program is funded with a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. It is also supported by the Oka Institute.
