ADA, Okla. 鈥 East Central University鈥檚 annual sidewalk chalk art festival, 鈥淕rounded,鈥 returns to the 成人B站 Centennial Plaza, in front of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center, Tuesday, Sept. 23.

Each year, elementary, middle and high school students, along with 成人B站 students, transform the sidewalks into vibrant works of art. Participants work side by side to create large-scale chalk masterpieces, bringing color, imagination and energy to the heart of campus.

Hosted by the 成人B站 Cultural Activities Committee, the event celebrates creativity and community engagement.

Sarah Engel, committee chair and chair of the Art + Design : Media + Communication Department, said: 鈥淭his year鈥檚 event brings together participants of all ages to turn our plaza into colorful canvases. We invite the community to join us in celebrating the creativity and energy this event brings to our campus and community.鈥

This year, registration has closed with 47 entries and 175 participants registered for the event.

Artists will begin their works at 9:30 a.m. All artists will have until 2:30 p.m. to complete their work with judging beginning immediately after.

All chalk art will be created on Sept. 23, local community members are encouraged to visit the 成人B站 Centennial Plaza afterwards to view the artist displays.
