The East Central University Department of Music will present the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble Midwinter Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Ataloa Theatre of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.
The symphonic band will be under the direction of Dr. Ben Finley, while the wind ensemble will be directed by Dr. Allen Correll.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The Wind Ensemble will perform 鈥淏ayou Breakdown鈥� (2004) by Brant Karrick; 鈥淪heltering Sky鈥� (2012) by John Mackey; 鈥淔airest of the Fair鈥� (1908/1978) by John Philip Sousa, arranged by Frederick Fennell and conducted by Rick Street and 鈥淎pollo Unleashed鈥� (2004, third movement, symphony No. 2) by Frank Tichele.
