
Research papers by Latta High School students Claire Chandler (left), a junior, and Mishana Ellison, a sophomore, will be presented at the Oklahoma Junior Academy of Science state meeting March 8-10 at East Central University. The papers were certified for the state competition at the regional OJAS meeting, also held at 成人B站. Chandler researched photoperiodism and circadian rhythms in fungi. Ellison examined Oklahoma plant stomatal response to changing atmospheric conditions. The Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair also will be held March 8-10 at 成人B站.

Their papers were certified at the regional OJAS meeting, also held at 成人B站. Jena Huling will present her research on 鈥淓nhanced Adsorption of Arsenic on Aquifer Solids and Soil. Phase II: Oxidative Treatment and Feasibility Assessment.鈥 Leah Huling鈥檚 paper is titled 鈥淎nalysis of Tree Cores: An Indicator of Heavy Metal Contamination in Soil/Ground Water at Tar Creek Superfund Site.鈥 The Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair also will be held March 8-10 at 成人B站.

Her paper, titled 鈥淢agno Electricity,鈥 was certified at the regional OJAS meeting last month at 成人B站. Her chemistry teacher, Pam Morgan, accompanied her to the regional competition.
