- Robert S. Kerr – Governor and U.S. Senator for Oklahoma; ran for President in 1952.
- George Nigh – Longtime Oklahoma Governor.
- Ernest McFarland – Arizona Governor and U.S. Senator.
- Bill Anoatubby – Governor of the Chickasaw Nation.
- Jefferson Keel – Lt. Governor of the Chickasaw Nation.
- Lyle Boren, ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ alumnus, served in the U.S. House of Representatives.

- Legal Studies: ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ is the only public university in Oklahoma offering a B.S. in Legal Studies.
- Environmental Health Science: ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ offers Oklahoma’s only accredited B.S. in this field.
- Medical Physics: One of few universities nationwide to offer a bachelor’s in Medical Physics.
- Nursing: ³ÉÈËBվ’s nursing students have a 95%+ NCLEX pass rate over the past five years.
